Pulling a heavy barbell off the floor requires a big pair of cojones and a huge commitment. To get stronger, the idea is to develop the confidence to know a lift is completed before you even touch the barbell. Come hell or high water, you know you have to keep pulling and know you’ll make it. While deadlifting seems simple, the lift has several aspects you’ll need to master to make progress.
