Build the Workhorse of Elbow Flexion for Bigger “Biceps”

February 14, 2017 6:52 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

The brachialis flexes the arm at the elbow joint. Unlike the biceps, the brachialis does not insert on the radius and does not participate in pronation and supination of the forearm.  But the brachialis is the workhorse of elbow flexion and if it is underdeveloped your biceps will lack a jaw-dropping peak.

Eccentric/Isometric Hammer Curls are a game-changing exercise for brachialis/elbow flexor development.

Try them and follow the instructions on this video.
